From your camera roll to your audience
One preparation.
A deliberate send.
Every destination has its own account requirements, text limits and publishing rules. Shortcast keeps those differences visible before you confirm.
Connect the right accounts.
In Accounts, authorize each platform and check the returned account, Facebook Page or YouTube channel name. Platforms may reuse an existing session, but you still choose the account and grant permissions. Shortcast does not ask for your social passwords.
For TikTok, choose Draft in TikTok or Direct Post. The two modes require different posting permissions; changing modes may require reconnecting.
Choose an original clip and prepare its text.
Select a video from your phone, write the caption and hashtags, and add a YouTube title when needed. Platform limit feedback and fitted previews show the outgoing text while preserving your original draft.
Choose supported visibility and audience settings. Locations and other metadata are sent only where supported; identical fields are not available on every platform.
Review every destination before confirming.
The review screen shows the account, audience, final text and any skipped destinations. Return to edit if something is wrong. Nothing is uploaded from this review until you confirm.
Keep Shortcast open while it sends the video. Reliable background upload and scheduling are not currently available.
Check the result where your audience will see it.
Each destination has its own status in History. Confirm the actual post, caption and audience on the platform. If the result is uncertain, check the platform before starting another upload.
With Draft in TikTok, open TikTok’s inbox notification and finish there. Inbox delivery is not a published post. Direct Post remains in restricted testing and is not approved for public use.
Before you connect
Which account can I use?
- A Creator or Business account linked to the Facebook Page you select. Personal Instagram accounts cannot publish through this integration.
- A Facebook Page you have permission to manage and publish to. Personal profiles are not supported.
- YouTube
- A YouTube channel you are authorized to manage. Check the selected channel, including a Brand Account channel, before sending.
- TikTok
- An ordinary TikTok account can be eligible; a Business account is not required. Current access is limited to approved sandbox testers. Posting modes and privacy choices depend on TikTok permissions.
