Delete your Shortcast data
Last updated November 7, 2026
Your post history is on your phone. Native TikTok connections also have an encrypted renewal record on Shortcast’s server:
- While online, open Shortcast, go to Accounts, and tap Disconnect for each platform. For native TikTok, wait for successful disconnection: it revokes TikTok access and removes the current connection’s stored server tokens. Reconnecting may leave an older encrypted connection record until its renewal permission expires; contact us to request earlier removal. If the request fails, try again when the service is available.
- Deleting the app removes its local app data, but does not itself revoke platform permissions or remove a TikTok server record. Phone secure-storage retention can also depend on the operating system. Disconnect before deleting the app.
- To also remove Shortcast’s permission on the platform side: Facebook Settings & privacy › Settings › Apps and websites; Instagram Settings › Website permissions › Apps and websites; Google myaccount.google.com/permissions; TikTok Settings and privacy › Security › Apps and services permissions. A server record left after deleting the app expires automatically with its renewal permission; use the contact details below to request earlier removal.
